Autumn colour trend alert!
Who would have thought that lavender would be a key colour trend of 2023! WGSN has dubbed “digital lavender” the colour of the year for 2023. Representing “wellness digital escapism, with a sense of stability and balance”. This calming shade provides a refreshing counterpoint to the bold jewel tones that define the normal autumn colour palette.
Everything from delicate pastels to rich purples graced the catwalks of renowned fashion houses such as ACNE Studios and YSL this season (pictured). So expect to see lavender tones take centre stage in knits, activewear, separates, accessories and various interior design elements.
It’s clear to see the evolution of purple tones since last year, the move towards lavender builds on the legacy of Pantone's Very-Peri, colour of the year 2022. Purple tones are staying in style but being muted down.
Our Paschimo Sweatshirt in Brassica, a soft neutral lavender tone with hints of pink, is the perfect way to add a touch of this trend to your wardrobe.
